While traveling through south Arizona I had the good fortune of
having a large guava plant directly outside of my hotel window. I
made some sketches and some time later went to the forge to attempt
to capture the essence of this majestic plant in wrought iron. It
is finished in a black patina with accent gold and silver gilding.
